Weeks 16 & 17: Vulnerability Invites Opportunity [Guest: Fiona Lin, MBA, PMP]
/Feedback is always a gift but you won’t always like it
Each episode as part of The Working Journal: MBA Alex Rose and Tyler Olsen will recap their week as MBA students at the University of Utah and introduce you to the students, faculty, alumni, and staff that you most need to know. Join us as we take you through two years of school, one episode at a time.
This week we are joined by Fiona Lin, an alumna of the class of 2010 from the University of Utah’s Full-Time MBA program. Fiona takes us through her journey toward an MBA and beyond. She highlights the importance of having—and then becoming—a great manager. We discuss the importance of feedback, and Fiona offers some advice on staying humble, treating others with respect, and letting vulnerability and curiosity drive your success.
